Job role

As a member of the Nedcann team, the Agronomist will be accountable for ensuring best practices are used in product development, monitoring insect pressures, plant and soil development, and making appropriate recommendations to handle/oversee chemical applications, and take corrective actions. Conducts experiments or investigations in cannabis grows to develop new methods of growing cannabis to secure more efficient production, higher yield, and improved quality by performing the following duties on site in Macedonia, location Ohrid.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for thought leaders with a consultative approach to set the standard and improve continuously.

 

Your Responsibilities Include

• Plan, report, and carry out evaluations to develop and improve cannabis production

• Utilizes the latest location and sensor technology to record and analyze data

• Supervise, evaluate, and report on production techniques to discover methods of planting, cultivation, harvesting, to improve yields and quality

• Supervise, evaluate, and report on ways to improve soil and water characteristics to improve yield and quality

• Supervises industry vendors and applicators

• Develops methods for control crop diseases, and insect pests

• Implements safety programs, maintain records, work efficiently and must be ready, willing and able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

• Working closely with the team in order to improve quality of our products and production process

• Ensuring best practices are used in production processes

• Taking part into the review of process specifications and wireframes

• G.AC.P.

• Other duties may be assigned

 

Your Profile

• Should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Agriculture field

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in the Agricultural Sciences, department of arable farming – Masters Degree would be considered as a plus.

• Possess, or be able to obtain in the near future, Pest Control License

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

• Be the co-worker that inspires the team

• Be creative and entrepreneurial and have a willingness to adapt to new conditions or initiatives

• Execute and enforce all cannabis state-specific rules, regulations and laws

• You speak fluent English and Macedonian

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Head of Production to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in the medical cannabis industry. If you are passionate about ensuring product quality, optimizing production processes, and adhering to regulatory standards, we encourage you to apply.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Production to oversee all aspects of production operations.
  • Implement production plans and targets in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Supervise employees engaged in the manufacturing process and ensure compliance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
  • Monitor production runs, maintain consistent product quality, and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Support site launches of new manufacturing products.
  • Establish and maintain a production unit in full cGMP
  • Ensure qualification and maintenance of premises and equipment in production department
  • Active participation in quality management processes in cooperation with the QM-personnel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, preferably in medical cannabis.
  • Specialization in pharmaceutical technology/Drug testing and control will have priority
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality control processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage production teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent English

As a member of the Nedcann team, the Pharmaceutical Technician is primarily responsible for performing general pharmaceutical duties related to the extraction and production of cannabis products. The candidate will work closely with  the company’s pharmacist to ensure all regulations are met throughout the production process and  follow all of our SOPs. The pharmaceutical technician ensures consistency and efficiency of product through maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Support- Assist in the preparation, compounding, and packaging .
  • Quality Control -Perform routine checks to ensure product quality, including visual inspections and measurements.
  • Equipment Maintenance- Maintain and calibrate production equipment.
  • Documentation- Accurately record production data and maintain batch records.
  • Adherence to Procedures – Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Collaboration- Work closely with pharmacists, quality assurance, and production teams.

 

Requirements

 

  • Pharmaceutical Background – Relevant education or experience in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences.

Hygiene Protocols – Develop and implement  SOPs, hygiene protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices for contamination control.

Training and Education-Train and educate team members on proper hygiene procedures, gowning, and aseptic techniques.

Requirements

  • Experience: -Minimum of 3 years in a quality assurance role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • GMP Knowledge- Good understanding of GMP principles and quality systems.
  • Attention to Detail- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Specialization in pharmaceutical technology/Drug testing and control will have priority
  • Communication Skills- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry or a related area
  • Professional and managerial experience in a comparable position, ideally in a company in the pharmaceutical sector or in a related field;
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations;
  • Preferable knowledge of GxP and establishment and operation of quality management, as well as local and international quality regulations;
  • Experience in handling change controls, CAPA, deviations and risk management;
  • Preferable experience in the governance of qualification and validation processes;
  • Fluent command of the English language, both written and spoken
